Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has warned his supporters to remain vigilant over alleged attempts to introduce fake ballot papers at some polling units during the ongoing governorship election.
Adeleke raised the concern shortly after casting his ballot at Sagba Abogunde Ward 2, Unit 9, in Ede North Local Government Area on Saturday.
The governor urged his supporters to carefully monitor the voting process and watch out for any ballot papers that may be used to deceive voters.

He also called on the electorate to protect their votes throughout the electoral process and remain at their polling units to monitor proceedings in line with the guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Adeleke expressed confidence in emerging victorious in the election and urged voters to remain peaceful and law-abiding during voting and the subsequent collation of results.
The governor said the election gives the people of Osun an opportunity to decide who governs the state for the next four years.
