EgyptAir will begin daily flights from Abuja and Kano in December 2026, adding two northern Nigerian cities to the daily service it already operates from Lagos, as the airline signed a partnership with Abuja-based KiakiaGo Travels to widen access to its tickets.
The agreement was signed on Monday, 26 October 2026, at EgyptAir’s office in Silverbird Galleria, Abuja.
EgyptAir’s Country Manager for Nigeria, Mr. Mahmoud Khaled Ali, and KiakiaGo Travels’ Managing Director, Mr. Abdulaziz Mustapha, signed for their organisations, with management teams from both companies present.
What changes for travellers
With the new services, passengers in Abuja and Kano will no longer have to travel to Lagos to connect to EgyptAir’s international network. The airline said the daily schedule gives northern travellers more frequent and flexible options for business, leisure and onwards connections.
For travellers in the north, daily flights from Abuja and Kano mean a one-stop route to those destinations without a domestic hop to Lagos first. That could save time and cost for business travellers, students heading abroad and families with relatives overseas, as well as for traders who need access to Middle Eastern and Asian markets.
The added capacity out of Abuja and Kano may also widen choice and put competitive pressure on fares on routes where passengers currently have few options, though the airline has yet to publish fares or schedules.
What KiakiaGo will offer
Under the deal, KiakiaGo, an IATA-certified agency, will sell EgyptAir flights from Lagos, Abuja and Kano to its individual, corporate and trade-partner clients. The agency will also provide ticketing, booking and travel advisory support, including trip planning.

“Our clients want reliable options and less stress when they travel,” Mr Mustapha said. “Working with EgyptAir, and with daily flights soon running from Abuja and Kano as well as Lagos, we can give more Nigerians that choice, wherever they are in the country.”
Mr Ali described Nigeria as an important market for the airline. “Our new daily services from Abuja and Kano bring us closer to travellers across the country, and KiakiaGo will help us reach them,” he said.
Latest in a run of 2026 deals for KiakiaGo
The EgyptAir agreement follows other deals the agency has made in 2026. It earlier signed a strategic partnership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), sponsors the football team of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and appointed JJC Skillz as brand ambassador.
