Veteran broadcaster and actress Doyin Kukoyi has debunked rumours linking her to a secret marriage with Nollywood star Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo.
Speculations began in 2022 after photos of the pair in matching outfits went viral, with Kukoyi fueling the talk by posting the images with love emojis on Instagram.

In a recent interview, she explained that the pictures were simply a publicity stunt for a movie in which they played role as partners.
Kukoyi, who is happily married with three children, said she was never offended by the misconception and often laughs when people still address Ogogo as her husband.

“You can’t control people’s judgments. I did that to sell the movie, and I never corrected the story,” she said.
