Osun Guber Poll: INEC Uploads 87% of Osun Election Results as Collation Continues Across 471 Polling Unit 

INEC Assures Readiness for Kano Assembly By-elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission has uploaded 3,292 of the 3,763 expected polling unit results from the Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV), representing 87.48 per cent of the total results.

A check of the INEC IReV portal by Pinnacle Daily at 10:00 pm on Saturday showed that 471 polling unit results were yet to be uploaded, accounting for 12.52 per cent of the expected results.

The portal indicated that the last upload was recorded at 8:48:08pm from Polling Unit 29/03/11/007 in Ife North Local Government Area.

The figures show that result uploads have progressed significantly as collation continues across the state’s 30 Local Government Areas.

The IReV platform allows voters, political parties, observers and other stakeholders to monitor polling unit results as they are uploaded.

The Osun governorship election is being contested by Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress and Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress, among other 12 candidates.

With 87.48 per cent of the expected results uploaded, attention is now focused on the remaining 471 polling unit results and the ongoing collation of results by INEC.
