The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun uploading results from the Osun State governorship election to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV), as counting and collation continue across the state.
As of 4:12 p.m. on Saturday, 437 of the 3,763 expected polling unit results had been uploaded, representing about 11.6 per cent of the total.
The figures on the portal showed that 3,326 polling unit results were still awaiting upload at the time.
INEC had said results from all 3,763 polling units across the state would be transmitted to the IReV portal after voting as part of measures to improve transparency.
The polling units are spread across 30 Local Government Areas and 332 Registration Areas/Wards.

The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) devices deployed for the election are being used to transmit the polling unit results.
Adeleke Wins Polling Unit in Osogbo
Meanwhile, Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party has secured the highest number of votes at Polling Unit 39, Ward 4, in Osogbo Local Government Area.
After voting, sorting and counting were completed in the presence of voters and party agents, the Presiding Officer, Oyeranmi Deborah, announced the result.
Accord polled 65 votes, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) recorded 43 votes.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) secured two votes, while the Action Alliance (AA), African Action Congress (AAC) and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) each scored one vote.
Several other polling units across Osogbo had also completed voting and were at different stages of sorting and counting.
15 Parties Contest Osun Election
Fifteen political parties are taking part in the governorship election following the late inclusion of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate, Francis Olugbenga Ajala, on the ballot.
The inclusion followed a Federal High Court judgment, prompting INEC to reproduce ballot papers and result sheets to accommodate the SDP candidate.
More results are expected as counting and collation continue across the state.
