Juventus Plot €120m Record-breaker Move for Osimhen

Juventus are reportedly planning a €120 million bid to bring Victor Osimhen back to Serie A as they aim to reclaim domestic dominance, according to Italian media reports.

The interest comes after the Nigerian striker praised the Turin club during a press conference ahead of their recent UEFA Champions League clash. Osimhen described Juventus as “one of the most important clubs in football history” and said it was a place where “90% of players would dream of playing.”

Despite Galatasaray reportedly valuing Osimhen closer to €150 million, speculation linking him to Juventus continues. The striker admitted he had the chance to join Juventus before his high-profile move to Istanbul.

Wednesday night’s Champions League clash added drama to the rumours. Juventus won the second leg 3–2 after extra time, but Galatasaray advanced 7–5 on aggregate, with Osimhen scoring a historic goal. That strike made him Galatasaray’s highest-scoring foreign player in European competition, with 13 goals, surpassing Czech legend Milan Baroš.

Named Man of the Match, Osimhen impressed with five shots, 15 passes at 66.7% accuracy, and tireless work up front, even as Juventus pressed with 10 men.

“This match was tough from the start, especially with how hard they pushed us,” Osimhen said. “Even with 10 men, Juventus showed why they are a great side. I’m happy with my goal, but more importantly, I’m happy for the fans who never stopped supporting us.”

Galatasaray now await the Round of 16 draw, where they could face Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur or Liverpool.
