MILO, a beverage brand of Nestlé Nigeria, has begun a 30-day Ramadan gifting campaign across communities in Northern Nigeria aimed at supporting families and honoring the values that define the holy month.
According to a statement by Nestlé Nigeria, the initiative, which is supported by MILO’s ambassadors – Ahmed Musa, Mansurah Isah, and Sulaimon Bosho – includes the donation of over 1 million sampled cups, more than 1,000 MILO cartons, and essential Iftar items.
The items include prayer mats, prayer kettles, and plastic buckets distributed across the region.
The MILO ambassadors have helped amplify the brand’s message of unity and generosity.
Speaking at the launch of the 30-day Ramadan gifting campaign, Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, Category Manager for Beverages, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening ties with its consumers and identifying with the values they cherish.

“Executing this initiative during Ramadan reflects our commitment to deepening our connection with our consumers. By providing essential items for Iftar, we are supporting families and aligning our actions with the values of care and compassion,” Tweneboah-Koduah stated.
The statement said the donated items will be distributed to the beneficiaries through religious and community leaders overseeing mosques with an average of 300 worshippers each, who will coordinate distribution to ensure the support reaches families.
Sheikh Ibrahim Shehi Mai Hula, Chairman of the Kano State Hisbah Board, commended the effort of Nestle Nigeria in reaching out to families with gift items during Ramadan. According to him, “It’s great to see MILO, a brand we trust, go beyond commercial sales to support those in need during Ramadan. Their donation is helping us reach more people, and we are grateful for their generosity.”
Beyond this campaign, MILO continues to invest in projects like MILO Building Champs, the MILO Building Champs Sports Fest, and the MILO Basketball Championship, demonstrating its long-term commitment to empowering the next generation and creating thriving communities across the country.
