The Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has validated her membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
She urged Nigerians, particularly youths and party loyalists, to do the same as part of efforts to strengthen the opposition.
The lawmaker disclosed this on her verified social media platforms.
Akpoti-Uduaghan said she completed her membership validation through the party’s electronic registration portal, describing the PDP as Nigeria’s strongest opposition platform.
She noted that the party needs active participation from members across the country to deepen democratic engagement and promote inclusiveness.
“The domain for PDP e-registration, pdpnigeria.org, is now secure,” she wrote on Facebook.
“I have validated my membership, do yours too. Register now. It is simple and easy.”

She called on Nigerians, especially young people, to take advantage of the digital registration process.
She added that the initiative provides an opportunity for citizens to formally identify with the party and contribute to shaping the country’s political future.
The senator added that active member participation is essential to strengthening opposition politics and ensuring accountability in governance.
The PDP recently introduced the electronic registration platform to simplify membership enrolment and validation.
The platform allows members within Nigeria and in the diaspora to register online.
