The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has said President Bola Tinubu holds a strategic advantage over opposition figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Keyamo made the remark in a post on his verified X handle on Sunday, where he pointed to Tinubu’s political experience and history in opposition politics.
“The unique thing about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is that he rose from the ranks of the opposition to become President of Nigeria,” he wrote.
He said the president’s background gives him an edge over rival parties, noting that many opposition strategies mirror Tinubu’s past political approach.

“Every step the opposition takes today and every strategy they adopt is drawn from the playbook of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he added.
Keyamo maintained that Tinubu remains ahead of his rivals in political calculations.
“You cannot outplay the man who shaped opposition politics; he is far ahead of them,” he said.
The comments come as political parties intensify preparations ahead of the 2027 elections.
