A statement from the Governor’s spokesman, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said the engagements began on Tuesday at the Rescue Mission Hall, Government House, Gusau, the state capital.
The first round of discussions involved PDP representatives from Gummi and Maru Local Government Areas.
“The engagement provides a platform where the Governor discusses important political issues impacting the party and the State,” Idris said. “In the coming weeks, Governor Lawal will host stakeholders from all 14 local government areas of Zamfara, listening to their concerns, advice, and assessments of local issues.”
According to Idris, such consultations demonstrate the PDP’s continued influence and strength across Zamfara State.
