Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, has explained why she chose to take her husband’s surname after marrying singer Mr Eazi.
In a recent interview with newsmen, Temi said her decision was a personal choice tied to her new status as a married woman. She stressed that while she respects women who keep their maiden names, for her, adopting her husband’s name felt natural.

“I’m now a married woman; the obvious thing for me is to take my husband’s name. But it’s my personal choice. I also respect a woman’s ability to choose,” she said.
Temi also highlighted the importance of privacy in her relationship, noting that moving “in silence” allows her to build and share her story on her own terms, free from external pressures.

Her journey with Mr Eazi began with a civil ceremony in Monaco, followed by a traditional Yoruba wedding in Dubai and a white wedding in the scenic landscapes of Iceland.
