Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has launched her latest Guinness World Record attempt, cooking the world’s largest pot of jollof rice, using an ambitious 250 bags of rice.
The attempt kicked off at Eko Hotels, Lagos, before a lively crowd of fans, food lovers, and supporters. This marks another bold milestone for Hilda, who shot to global fame in 2023 after breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon.
Before lighting the burners, Hilda was spotted sharing a heartfelt prayer moment with her mother, asking for strength, protection, and endurance throughout the marathon effort. The emotional scene sparked cheers from the audience, many of whom hailed her mother as an enduring source of inspiration.
