Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has revealed how Nigeria plans to approach their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarter-final against Algeria on Saturday.
Both teams reached the last eight after defeating Mozambique and DR Congo in the Round of 16.

Lookman told CAFOnline that Nigeria will tackle the Desert Foxes with a winning mindset and an aggressive approach on the ball.
“Everyone is physically strong,” Lookman said. “It’s about meeting them on the field, being intelligent, and being ready.”
He added, “Same mentality from the team, same mentality to win, to be aggressive on the ball.”

The Atalanta forward has been Nigeria’s standout player so far, scoring three goals and registering five assists, making him the key man to watch in the upcoming quarter-final.
