Tinubu Praises Super Eagles Despite World Cup Setback, Urges Focus on African Nations Cup

President Bola Tinubu has appointed six zonal coordinators for the Renewed Hope Initiative Committees, a platform created to drive his administration’s development agenda across the country.

Former Delta State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, will coordinate the South-South zone, while former Bauchi State governor, Isah Yuguda, will oversee the North-East.

In the North-West, the President appointed former Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari.

The South-East zone will be coordinated by former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim, the South-West by Oladipupo Oyinbande, and the North-Central by former Nasarawa State governor, Umar Tanko Al-Makura.

The appointments were announced during the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Initiative Committees for the six geopolitical zones.

The event, chaired by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, marked a significant step in expanding the reach of the President’s political and socioeconomic programmes.

According to the Presidency, the Renewed Hope Initiative will drive strategic engagements, mobilization efforts and development-focused interventions across the zones as part of the administration’s broader vision for national renewal.
