Combined security operatives have arrested four suspected kidnappers in a forest at Ewu, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State.
The suspects were apprehended following a shootout with security operatives during an operation in the area.
Confirming the development, the Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, Eno Ikoedem, said the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.

Ikoedem added that the police would issue a detailed statement on the arrest in due course.
