Ahmed Alhasan, a deputy director at the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and acting head of the Rural Electrification Fund, has died after collapsing during an official engagement on Wednesday.
His death occurred at REA’s stakeholders’ roundtable in Akwa Ibom State.

Kunle Olubiyo, President of the Nigeria Consumer Protection Network, confirmed the incident in a condolence message.
