The Super Eagles have received the house allocations promised to them following their runners-up finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Documents for the houses were presented to the players on Monday night in Fès, Morocco, by the Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Shehu Dikko, alongside the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and other top sports officials.

President BolaTinubu had pledged the housing rewards when the team returned to Nigeria after the AFCON tournament in Côte d’Ivoire. In addition to the houses, the players were also conferred with national honours, receiving the title of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).
Nigeria finished second at the tournament after losing 2–1 to host Côte d’Ivoire in a keenly contested final at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpé, Abidjan.

The fulfilment of the pledge is expected to further motivate the Super Eagles as they begin their campaign for a fourth AFCON title, starting with a clash against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars on Tuesday.
