APC Distributes Gadgets for E-Registration in Benue

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has begun distributing electronic gadgets to local government supervisors and ward agents ahead of the party’s e-registration exercise.

Speaking at the launch in Makurdi on Monday, Mr. James Ornguga, State Coordinator of the APC e-registration exercise, said the party has secured sufficient gadgets for the operation.

The devices, procured by Governor Hyacinth Alia, include 1,428 mobile phones with 6,000mAh batteries, HP Smart Tank wireless printers, HP laptops, and internet-enabled MiFi devices.

Ornguga explained that five agents will operate per ward during the exercise and expressed confidence that Benue State is already ahead of 16 other states in the e-registration rankings.

He added that the party aims to place in the top five nationally within the next two weeks. Vandiekya Local Government currently leads in the state’s e-registration figures, he noted.

Earlier, APC State Chairman Mr. Benjamin Omale urged supervisors and ward agents to carry out the e-registration exercise diligently, emphasizing its importance for the party’s operations.
