Pete Edochie’s Family Petitions DSS After TikToker Falsely Reports Actor’s Death

The family of veteran actor Pete Edochie has petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS) to track down a TikToker who circulated false reports of the actor’s death.

The controversy erupted after viral claims about Edochie’s passing were debunked by both the actor’s family and management.

Leo Edochie, the actor’s first son, described the news as “a lie from the pit of hell” in a viral Instagram video.

He later disclosed in a Facebook post on Thursday evening that he had contacted the DSS to ensure the arrest of the TikToker responsible for spreading the fake news.

Leo also offered a cash reward for anyone providing information that could aid in the arrest of the suspect. Sharing a photo of the suspect, he wrote:

“This young man posted a video on TikTok claiming our father is dead. His handle is @ONE_BOR 001. Anyone with information that will lead to his arrest will be handsomely rewarded in cash.

I have contacted DSS, and they are on his trail. DM me with the information; as soon as he is arrested, you will receive your reward.”

The family’s swift action underscores the seriousness with which they are treating the spread of false information about the actor’s health.
