He made the disclosure while responding to a fan on X (formerly Twitter) who expressed concern about his recent silence.
The fan wrote: “Davido never post for over 3 days now. I miss my idol.”

In a lighthearted reply, the singer quipped: “When u marry, u go understand.. lol.”
Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, tied the knot in a glamorous white wedding ceremony held in Miami, Florida, in August 2025. The couple marked their one-month anniversary on September 11, 2025, with Chioma sharing a heartfelt wedding video on social media.
Describing the moment, Davido commented under the clip, calling their wedding day “the best day ever.”
