Troops Discover Mass Grave of Terrorists in Borno’s Timbuktu Triangle

Troops of the Joint Task Force North East, Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have uncovered a mass grave containing the remains of about 20 terrorists killed during military operations in the Timbuktu Triangle area of Borno State.

The discovery was confirmed on Wednesday by Lt.-Col. Sani Uba, Media Information Officer of OPHK. He said the mass grave underscores the heavy losses suffered by terrorist groups due to sustained military offensives.

“The mass grave, containing an estimated 20 terrorist bodies, exposes the scale of casualties and discredits their propaganda,” Uba said.
