FCT Police Seek Public’s Help to Reunite Missing Child with Family

 The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has appealed to members of the public to assist in locating the family of a young boy found roaming the Works and Housing Estate, Gwarimpa, Abuja.

The child, estimated to be between 10 and 11 years old, was discovered by a Good Samaritan on 26 December 2025 at around 4:00 p.m. and brought to the Gwarimpa Police Divisional Headquarters after efforts to trace his parents or relatives proved unsuccessful.

At the time, he was dressed in a white shirt and carton-coloured trousers.

Authorities say the child is currently unable to communicate or provide information about his family.

The FCT Police Command has urged anyone with useful information to contact the nearest police station or call 08180382808 or reach the Police Public Relations Officer at 07038979348.
