Wrestling icon, actor, and global pop culture phenomenon Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71.

TMZ Sports first reported the death of the former WWE Champion, revealing that Hogan died early Thursday morning at his Clearwater, Florida, home. Emergency vehicles, including police and EMTs, were reportedly seen stationed outside the residence.

Just weeks before his passing, Hogan’s wife, Sky, had publicly dismissed viral rumours claiming the Hall of Famer had fallen into a coma.

She insisted his heart was “strong” following a series of recent surgical procedures.
