The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on her recognition as Leadership Person of the Year 2026, describing her tenure as one defined by impact, inspiration and a lasting legacy in advancing the welfare of women, children and vulnerable groups.
In a statement signed by the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, the ministry paid glowing tribute to the First Lady’s humanitarian and empowerment initiatives, noting that her programmes have continued to strengthen families, promote social inclusion and expand opportunities for women across the country.
