Nollywood Bids Farewell to Allwell Ademola in Lagos

 Nollywood colleagues, friends, and family gathered on Friday to honour the late actress Allwell Ademola, who passed away on 27 December at the age of 49 following a heart attack.

The funeral commenced with a candlelight procession and memorial service at Lagos State Television, Ikeja, before her interment at Atan Cemetery, Yaba.

Ademola, celebrated for her versatility as an actress, writer, and director, was remembered for her outstanding contributions to the Nigerian film industry.

She starred in notable productions such as Ile Wa, Third Eye, and Mimi’s Voice, leaving a legacy cherished by fans and colleagues alike.

Prominent Nollywood figures including Rotimi Salami, Toyin Abraham, Afeez Owo, Saidi Balogun, and Adedoyin Kukoyi attended the rites, paying their respects to the late screen icon.

Her passing marks a significant loss to Nollywood, where her creativity and dedication influenced a generation of actors and filmmakers.
