The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has officially opened applications for a $150 million offshore expansion facility designed to modernize and scale Nigerian enterprises.
Developed in partnership with Germany-based commercial banking group ODDO BHF SE, the financing package offers eligible businesses access to long-term expansion capital at single-digit interest rates.
Priority areas include non-defence manufacturing, agro-allied processing, energy, logistics, mineral beneficiation, and transportation. Additionally, 20 percent of the total facility has been earmarked for the digital economy and information and communication technology (ICT) sector.
The facility offers qualifying Nigerian enterprises long-term patient capital at single-digit interest rates, thanks to the strategic alliance with Frankfurt-based commercial banking group ODDO BHF SE. Applications are being accepted via a dedicated digital portal, which was unveiled at the Infrastructure Conference (INFRACON) 2026 held at the AFREXIM Tower in Abuja.
According to a statement from NACCIMA, the portal represents a significant step forward in digitizing foreign direct investment origination for Nigeria’s Organised Private Sector. The operational framework and platform were jointly presented by Dr. Waheed Olagunju, Chairman of the Joint NACCIMA–ODDO BHF Working Group Committee and former Managing Director of the Bank of Industry, and Dr. Segun Olugbile, NACCIMA’s Digital Economy Coordinator and Chairman of the Digital Economy Trade Group.
Dr. Olagunju noted that the Joint Committee has established a rigorous framework to enable viable, ESG-compliant Nigerian businesses to access capital starting at a minimum of $10 million. The funding is intended to help firms acquire European machinery, equipment, and technology needed to scale operations.
“What we are launching today is a transparent, globally aligned investment origination pipeline as a demonstration of investors’ confidence in Nigeria’s economy,” Olagunju stated.
He also highlighted the portal’s robust security features, saying: “To attract world-class European investment, our digital infrastructure must inspire absolute confidence and trust. This secure e-Portal (https://investment.naccima.ng/) has been developed with bank-grade encryption and complies with existing regulations. It automates Know-Your-Customer verification and integrates a secure framework to ensure that applicants’ proprietary financial information remains fully protected throughout the transaction process.”

The financing package offers a minimum facility size of $10 million with a minimum repayment tenure of 7.5 years. Beneficiaries must allocate between 35 and 50 percent of the financing to procure eligible goods, equipment, machinery, and services from Europe, with the remainder available for use within Nigeria or other approved markets.
Eligibility requirements include financial viability and a strong repayment capacity, as evidenced by at least 3 years of audited financial statements. Applicants must also demonstrate compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Additionally, firms must be verified financial members of recognized organized private sector associations, such as NACCIMA, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), or the Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI).
NACCIMA reaffirmed its commitment to building credible international financing pathways for Nigerian industries, stating: “By securing long-term capital through strategic global partnerships, we aim to enhance private sector competitiveness and drive sustainable industrial transformation across the nation.”
