FULL LIST: Lagos APC Unveils Reps, State Assembly Candidates for 2027 Elections

Following conclusion of primaries, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its list of candidates for the House of Representatives and the State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The list, announced by the state chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, contains 24 House of Representatives candidates and 40 House of Assembly candidates for various constituencies.

Among the nominees is Mudashiru Obasa, who secured the party’s ticket for Agege Federal Constituency, a development expected to draw political attention given his influence in Lagos politics and the state legislature.

House of Representatives Candidates

The party’s House of Representatives list features several returning and first-time candidates across Lagos constituencies.

Prominent names include James Abiodun Faleke (Ikeja), Babajimi Benson (Ikorodu), Muftau Egberongbe (Apapa), Moses Olanrewaju (Amuwo-Odofin), Adeyemi Alli (Mushin I), Moses Oluwatosin Fayinka (Mushin II), and Fuad Kayode Laguda (Surulere I).

Others are Lanre Okunnola (Surulere II), Fuad Atanda-Lawal (Eti-Osa), Bello Monsuru Oloyede (Oshodi-Isolo II), Kolade David Alabi (Somolu), Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo (Ifako-Ijaiye), Bolaji Kayode Robert (Ojo), and Paul Abioye Kalejaiye (Ajeromi-Ifelodun).

Also listed are Dolapo Badru (Lagos Island I), Kayode Moshood Akiolu (Lagos Island II), Olabisi Adebanjo (Alimosho), Adebayo Balogun (Ibeju-Lekki), Taiwo Aiyedun (Oshodi-Isolo I), Dele Osinowo (Kosofe), Segun Adeniran Onilude (Badagry), Wale Raji (Epe), and Adekunle Omolaja (Lagos Mainland).

House of Assembly Candidates

For the Lagos State House of Assembly, the APC also unveiled its candidates across constituencies following the primaries.

Mojisola Meranda emerged as the candidate for Apapa I, while Musibau Lawal secured Apapa II.

In Surulere, Barakat Bakare-Odunuga won Surulere I, and Damilola Ayinde-Marshall emerged for Surulere II. Oluwagbemiga Abiola clinched Agege I.

Other candidates include Saheed Bankole (Eti-Osa I), Gbolahan Yishawu (Eti-Osa II), Oladipo Olayinka Ajomale (Oshodi-Isolo I), and Mayowa Alakija (Oshodi-Isolo II).

Constituency Outcomes Across Lagos

In Ikorodu, Toyin Gafar and Moshood Aro emerged for Ikorodu I and II respectively. Somolu produced Orekoya Abiodun and Moruf Alli-Balogun for Somolu I and II.

Ifako-Ijaiye tickets went to Temitope Adedeji Adewale (I) and Rasheed Lanre Makinde (II), while Ojo constituencies were won by Oluwaseun Adebisi Ege and Suraju Tijani.

In Ikeja, Adedamola Kasumu and Adeseyi Lawal secured the party’s tickets for constituencies I and II.

Ajeromi-Ifelodun produced Saad Lukmon Olumoh (I) and Sabur Akanbi Oluwa (II).

In Lagos Island, Lara Olumegbon-Lawal clinched the ticket for Constituency I, while Yusuf Nurudeen Abiodun emerged for Constituency II.

Alimosho also produced Olatunji Lukmon Jimoh-Orelope and Joseph Kehinde as candidates for constituencies I and II respectively.
