The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has directed that Airport Road be connected to Tunga Madaki and surrounding communities in Abuja.
He made this announcement during an on-the-spot assessment of the ongoing road project.
Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, said the minister personally inspected the new road that will link the Airport corridor with Tunga Madaki and other parts of the FCT.
The minister has also instructed that work should begin on extending the road towards Zuba.

Wike noted that Abuja has seen significant transformation since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took office.
