Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Biodun Oyebanji, has won his polling unit in Saturday’s Ekiti State governorship election.
According to results announced at Polling Unit 003, Ward 06, Okelele, Ikogosi Ekiti, the incumbent governor, who is seeking reelection for his second term in office, scored 326 votes to defeat other political parties.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled two 2 votes, while the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and African Action Congress (AAC) recorded one vote each.
Oyebanji voted at the Polling Unit 003, Ward 06, Okelele, Ikogosi Ekiti, alongside his wife, Olayemi, at about 11:38 am on Saturday.

- Speaking after voting, the governor expressed optimism that the APC would exceed its goal of 500,000 votes in the election.
He also commended voter turnout and advised residents to be patient with the Independent National Electoral Commission despite reported technical issues, expressing confidence that no qualified voter will be disenfranchised.
