APC Extends Membership E-registration, Reschedules Congresses

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended its electronic membership registration deadline from January 31 to February 8, 2026.

The party’s national spokesman, Felix Morka, said in a statement on Friday that the extension is intended to allow more supporters and members to register and validate their membership.

Morka announced that Ward Congresses will now hold on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, while the National Convention is rescheduled for March 27–28, 2026.

He noted that Osun State, Ekiti State, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are excluded from the congresses due to upcoming elections. Rivers State is also exempted because of the ongoing tenure of its current party executive committees.

“Further details on the adjusted Congress and National Convention timetable, the schedule of activities, and the composition of the National Convention Planning Committee will be communicated in due course,” Morka said.

The adjustment comes as the APC continues preparations for internal party elections ahead of the 2027 general elections.
