Rising Nigerian music star Segun Shodade, popularly known as Shoday, has revealed that his decision to avoid tattoos is rooted in caution and a pragmatic approach to his career path.
The singer said he is mindful of the uncertainties in the music industry and does not want to fully commit to a lifestyle that could limit his options outside entertainment.
Speaking in an interview, Shoday explained that he keeps his long-term plans flexible in case his music career does not work out as expected.
According to him, he remains open to returning to a conventional office job if his journey in music fails to provide sustainable success.
“I don’t have a tattoo on my body because I am skeptical. If music doesn’t work, I will carry my files and go back to office work,” he said.
