Popular Nigerian music stars Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, have welcomed twin babies, expanding their family.
The award-winning singer shared the joyful news on his Snapchat story on Wednesday. “Asked God for another child, and he blessed me double,” he wrote.
The couple has not yet revealed the gender of the twins, but fans, fellow celebrities, and colleagues have flooded them with congratulatory messages.

Speculation about the twins had grown in December, after Simi shared an Instagram video captioned, “From my baby, for my babies,” showing a visible baby bump.
Their latest blessings follow weeks after Simi highlighted a scene from Adekunle Gold’s new music video, “My Love is the Same,” which also excited fans.
Adekunle Gold and Simi, who married in 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration, remain one of Nigeria’s most celebrated entertainment power couples.

Both artistes began their careers at X3M Music before rising to mainstream fame.
The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare Kosoko (Deja), in May 2020.
