The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered a clandestine laboratory manufacturing Colorado, a potent synthetic cannabis strain, inside a residential building at Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos, following months of intelligence surveillance.
This was made known by the Agency’s Director of Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday.
According to the statement, NDLEA operatives arrested the lab owner, Stephen Kelechi Imoh (30), and recovered 16.2kg of freshly produced Colos alongside precursor chemicals, including ADB-CHMNACA Cannabinol, potassium carbonate, and 91 litres of dibromobutane.

The raid, conducted on Thursday, October 30, 2025, followed earlier seizures in March and May, which indicated the drug previously imported was now being produced locally.

In another Lagos operation on Saturday, November 1, NDLEA stormed a drug enclave in Mushin, arresting Afeez “Malu” Salisu (28) and seizing 16.4kg of Ghana-Loud and Colorado designer packs.
Also at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, a music artist, Godspower George (Steady Boy, 20), was arrested in Lekki while attempting to receive 77.2kg of Loud concealed in bathtub cartons from New York. His manager, Zion “Zee Money” Omigie, is currently at large.

WADA Sensitization Ongoing Nationwide
The agency continued its War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) advocacy in schools, religious centres, and communities across Lagos, Oyo, Sokoto, Jigawa, and Kano.

NDLEA Chairman, Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa (Rtd.), commended officers for their “tireless professionalism,” stressing that traffickers will lose both drugs and proceeds.
“We will continue to dismantle every drug syndicate while ensuring they forfeit all illegal assets to the Federal Government,” he said.
