The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has reportedly traced several luxury properties in Egypt to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
According to TheCable, investigators discovered the properties during an ongoing probe into El-Rufai’s activities while he governed Kaduna State from 2015 to 2023.
Investigators reportedly identified three villas and six apartments in upscale districts of Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
The villas sit in Arabella Estate and Banafsik Estate in New Cairo. Properties in these locations sell for about $1 million to $1.3 million.
Investigators also identified apartments in Cairo Festival City. Each apartment reportedly costs about $500,000.
Specific Locations of the Assets
Reports say the assets include a villa in Arabella Estate in the 5th Settlement area of Cairo.
Another villa stands in Banafsik Estate in the 1st Settlement area of New Cairo.
A third villa sits in Oriana II, New Cairo, near the American University in Cairo.

The ICPC continues to investigate El-Rufai over alleged financial misappropriation during his tenure as governor.
The former governor has remained in ICPC custody since February 18, 2026.
Before his detention, officers of the Department of State Services questioned him over claims that the phone of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu had been tapped.
