The FCT Police Command on Friday rescued two individuals lying in their pool of blood at Chicken House Junction, Wuse 2.
The rescue operation followed a distress call to the police on Friday morning.
According to the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, officers immediately mobilized to the scene, rescued the victims who were still alive, and rushed them to the National Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Eyewitnesses said that members of the public who had gathered dispersed when police arrived. No suspects were arrested at the scene.
The Commissioner of Police, FCT, CP Ajao S. Adewale, has ordered the Divisional Police Officer of Wuse Division to carry out a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities assured residents that further updates would be communicated in due course.
SP Adeh advised the public to continue with their lawful activities while the investigation is ongoing.
