The Trump administration has unveiled a campaign to hire 1,000 engineers for two-year stints in federal government roles, according to a government website on Monday.
The initiative seeks professionals with expertise in software engineering, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data analytics. Successful candidates will be placed in positions across various government agencies, with most roles located in Washington, D.C.

Private sector companies, including Apple, Google, and Nvidia, have pledged to consider program alumni for future employment, highlighting the initiative’s potential as a bridge between government service and corporate opportunities.
