Former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Sam Amadi, has advised Nigerians against directing personal hatred towards President Bola Tinubu, urging critics to concentrate instead on his politics and policies.
Amadi, in a post on X on Tuesday, argued that demonising Tinubu as an individual while replacing him with another leader equally deficient in governance would amount to repeating past political mistakes.
He recalled that a similar error was made during the campaign against former President Goodluck Jonathan.

According to him, what is rational and honest is to reject Tinubu’s style of politics and advocate for a leader fundamentally different in approach and governance.
“There is no sense in hating Tinubu as a person and bringing someone who is as heinous in politics and governance as him. That is what we did against @GEJonathan. Hate Tinubu’s politics and policies and bring someone who is very different from him. That is what is rational and honest,” he stated.
