Reinstate 3,000 Sacked Civil Servants – Zamfara APC Tells Gov. Lawal

The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appealed to Governor Dauda Lawal to reinstate more than 3,000 civil servants recently removed from the state’s workforce.

The demand was contained in a statement issued on Monday in Gusau by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris.

According to the statement, those affected include teachers, healthcare personnel, and other civil servants drawn from the 14 local government areas of the state.

Workers Passed Verification Before Sack – APC

Idris described the mass dismissal as “arbitrary,” alleging that the affected employees had earlier been cleared in the government’s verification exercise before being instructed to stop work.
