The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has forecast a mix of haze, sunshine and thunderstorms across Nigeria from Wednesday to Friday.
In its three-day weather outlook released on Tuesday in Abuja, NiMet said the northern region will experience mostly sunny and hazy conditions throughout the period.
By Friday, dust haze is expected to worsen, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.
NiMet projected generally sunny skies with cloud patches over the southern states on Wednesday.

The agency said isolated thunderstorms with light rainfall may occur later in the day over parts of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states.
On Thursday morning, light rain and thunderstorms may affect Ogun, Lagos, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states.
Later in the day, thunderstorms are expected over Ondo, Ogun, Imo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River.
On Friday, NiMet said the northern region will record sunny and hazy conditions in the morning. Dust haze is expected to intensify in the afternoon and evening.
The central region will remain sunny and hazy throughout the day.
In the South, cloudy skies with sunny intervals are expected in the morning.
NiMet forecast isolated thunderstorms and light rainfall over parts of Anambra, Imo, Abia, Edo, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Rivers states.
NiMet warned that dust particles are currently suspended over parts of the North-Central region.
The agency advised residents to take necessary precautions.

People living with asthma or other respiratory conditions were urged to limit exposure to dusty environments.
NiMet also advised airline operators to obtain airport-specific weather reports from the agency to support safe and effective flight operations.
