The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has begun enforcement actions on 1,095 property titles revoked in Asokoro, Maitama, Garki, and Wuse for non-payment of Ground Rent, Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) bills, penalty/violation fees, and land use conversion fees.
Mr. Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, stated on Friday that the enforcement follows the expiration of a 14-day grace period.

Owners had ignored repeated public notices issued between May and November via national dailies, online platforms, and television stations.
Olayinka explained that the enforcement affects 835 properties with unpaid Ground Rent and 260 properties defaulting on Violation Fees and Land Use Conversion Fees.
He emphasized that these actions comply with Section 28, Subsections 5(a) and (b) of the Land Use Act and the terms of the respective Rights of Occupancy.

He urged the public, particularly property owners in the FCT, to settle outstanding obligations promptly to avoid similar enforcement actions.
