CIG Motors Co. Ltd has fired Mr. Jubril Arogundade after completing an internal governance review.
Arogundade had been suspended while the company investigated executive management practices. The review focused on responsibilities at the leadership level and is now concluded.
PR Director Ifeanyi Abraham said the company has referred the findings to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). “We are cooperating fully with the EFCC and have submitted all necessary documentation,” he said.

CIG Motors emphasised its commitment to strong governance, accountability, and transparency, saying these principles guide all executive roles.
The company also highlighted its focus on business operations and customer engagement. Its recent Ember Sales campaign offered significant discounts on select vehicles, marking a milestone in Nigeria’s automotive sector.
Looking ahead, CIG Motors will launch the New Year Price Takeover, a nationwide initiative to make vehicles more accessible and strengthen the company’s investment in the Nigerian market.
