Africa’s most popular reality show, Big Brother Naija, returns for its 10th edition on Sunday, July 27, 2025, with an all-time high prize of ₦150 million for the winner.
The organisers, Multichoice Nigeria Ltd, announced on Wednesday that this landmark season will begin with two opening nights — Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27.
This double launch format, introduced in previous seasons, adds suspense and excitement, setting the stage for weeks of unpredictable drama, romance, and rivalry.
Ebuka Reflects on 10 Years of Growth
Long-time host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu shared some highlights from the show’s journey over the years.
“In nine seasons, we’ve hosted 709 days of entertainment and introduced 197 housemates to viewers across Africa,” he said. “Altogether, ₦637 million in prize money has been awarded.”
He noted that Season 10 promises more intrigue, challenges, and memorable moments as the franchise celebrates a decade of influence.
₦150 Million Up for Grabs
According to Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels at Multichoice, the prize for the Season 10 winner will be ₦150 million, the highest in BBNaija history.
“This season is not just a milestone — it’s a celebration,” she said. “We’re offering more than just entertainment. Viewers, sponsors, and fans can expect new twists, fresh faces, and an elevated experience.”
