Rap icon Nicki Minaj has reignited her feud with Megan Thee Stallion after a federal judge allowed a lawsuit against Megan and Roc Nation to proceed.
Minaj Celebrates Court Decision
On July 8, Minaj mocked her former collaborator on Instagram following the court’s ruling. She posted a cryptic caption laced with sarcasm and biblical references.
“What was the name of that law again? Karma’s Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord’s law,” she wrote.
The post appeared to reference Megan’s 2024 diss track “Hiss”, where Megan rapped.
They don’t be mad at Megan; they are mad at Megan’s Law.” Although she didn’t mention Minaj directly, the lyric struck a nerve. Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, and her brother, Jelani Maraj, are both registered sex offenders covered under Megan’s Law.
Minaj followed up with a defiant message: “We give God the glory, and he’s only just begun. Have a blessed day if you can. lol. The blogs are posting lies—thank you. More money for me. We’re working. Trust.”
Cameraman Accuses Megan of Harassment
The lawsuit that sparked Minaj’s comments was filed in April 2024 by Emilio Garcia, Megan’s former personal cameraman. Garcia worked with her from 2018 to 2023.
He alleged that Megan, whose real name is Megan Pete, created a hostile work environment. In one key incident, Garcia claimed Megan had sex with a woman beside him in an SUV after a night out in June 2022.
Garcia, who is gay, said the incident was deeply uncomfortable. He also claimed that Roc Nation altered his pay in August 2022, leading to a significant drop in income. By June 2023, he was fired, allegedly in retaliation.

Judge: Hostile Work Claims Can Stand
According to Billboard, a federal judge recently denied a motion to dismiss the case. The court said Garcia had “plausibly” argued that the SUV incident may have created a hostile work environment based on sexual orientation.
A lawyer for Megan dismissed the lawsuit at the time:
“This is an employment claim for money… with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her,” the statement to newsmen said.
