Senator Ned Nwoko, Nigerian politician and husband of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has defended his polygamous lifestyle, saying having only one wife is like “standing on one leg.”
Nwoko made the comment during an interview on Sunday night while reacting to reports of a marital crisis with his fourth wife, Regina.
Explaining his stance, the senator said: “Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg you know how difficult it is.
It’s much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four. I feel sorry for those with one wife. I have no regrets and would do the same thing again.”

His remarks come amid viral reports of domestic tension between the couple. Regina Daniels recently accused Nwoko of domestic violence in a circulating video, while the senator, in turn, alleged that she was struggling with substance abuse.
In a new twist fueling divorce speculation, Regina shared a photo on Sunday showing her on the balcony of a new house with the caption, “I needed a roof over my head.”

The post sparked widespread rumours that she may have moved out of their Abuja home, with some reports suggesting she has relocated to Lagos.
