The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has carried out precision airstrikes that killed several ISWAP terrorists in Borno State. The strikes also destroyed bandit hideouts in Katsina and Kwara States.
NAF spokesperson Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame confirmed the operations in a statement on Monday. He said the coordinated air missions were conducted on Sunday, November 10.
Ejodame explained that NAF jets struck terrorist positions in Shuwaram and Mallam Fatori after intelligence confirmed ISWAP movement along the Lake Chad Basin. “The strikes destroyed insurgent hideouts, logistics hubs, and weapons depots,” he said.
