The Imo State Police Command has summoned the Chief Executive Officer of TMT Travels & Tours Ltd, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, over allegations of visa fraud and obtaining money under false pretence.
Police spokesperson DSP Okoye Henry disclosed the development in a statement on Friday, noting that the invitation followed directives from the Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, who ordered a full investigation into the complaints.

According to the statement, at least nine Nigerian passports have so far been recovered from the travel company.
The Command urged affected citizens to remain calm, assuring that efforts are underway to recover funds paid for visa services as well as any additional documents belonging to victims. It also warned the public to exercise due diligence when seeking travel or visa assistance.

DSP Henry added that the Commissioner of Police remains committed to justice, public safety, and protecting residents from fraudulent activities.
