The Chinese-made Z-9 helicopter, often used for evacuations, left Accra for Obuasi in the Ashanti region before vanishing from radar. Authorities later found the wreckage in the Adansi area.
Mourners have gathered at the ministers’ homes and at the NDC headquarters. The government called the crash a “national tragedy” and promised a full investigation to uncover the cause.
