Yusuf Dantalle has been re-elected as the national chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) for another two-year term following an election that took place on Monday in Abuja.
Dantalle, who also serves as the national chairperson of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), reclaimed the IPAC leadership unanimously after his sole contender, Kenneth Udeze of the Action Alliance, withdrew from the race.
IPAC acts as the umbrella body for all registered political parties in Nigeria.
Other officers elected alongside Dantalle include Zainab Ibrahim (deputy national chairman), Maxwell Mgbudem (national secretary), and Maryam Garba Bagel (deputy national secretary).
The executive team also features Dipo Olayoku (national treasurer), Chinyere Kalu (national organising secretary), Umar Mohammed (national financial secretary), Martins Egbeola (national publicity secretary), and Obed Agu (national legal adviser).

Speaking after the election, Dantalle described the result as “a victory for sustainable democracy and development in IPAC and the nation.”
He added that the outcome reflects a collective effort to strengthen the council. “It is a triumph of hope for a better, greater and brighter Inter-Party Advisory Council,” he said.
Dantalle further noted that he had fulfilled his commitment to establish directorates for women, youth, and persons with disabilities, stating that IPAC will continue to grow through collaboration with stakeholders and citizens to build a strong, united, and inclusive democratic nation.
