Ganduje Intensifies Effort To Stamp APC Dominance in Kano

As the 2027 election draws closer, former Kano State governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and other Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State are stepping up efforts to expand the party’s support base and rally voters behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.

In  a four-day strategy session, convened by former governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje at his Kano residence, Ganduje said the extended consultations were aimed at strengthening unity and rebuilding trust within the party as the countdown to 2027 gathers pace.

“The purpose of this meeting over the last three days has been to ensure complete unity in our party from top to bottom and to reaffirm our solidarity with the Federal Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.

He noted that delegates and executives demonstrated strong commitment to maintaining the APC’s dominance in Kano and across the country.

Ganduje disclosed that leaders from all 44 local government areas had sought approval to begin public endorsements of President Tinubu as the party’s sole presidential candidate for 2027.

He said: “We have resolved that all local governments in the state should gather their party officials, stakeholders and supporters to make a public pronouncement endorsing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as our sole candidate for 2027.”

He also directed that APC offices across all LGAs and wards be reopened and fully activated to strengthen grassroots mobilisation.

According to him, the party will soon engage ICT personnel in preparation for the APC’s digital registration exercise. He reminded members that Kano had previously recorded the highest number of APC members nationwide.

“Each local government is to provide three computer experts who will be trained at the state headquarters and deployed for the e-registration exercise. We assure you that, once again, Kano will produce the highest number of registered party members,” he said.
