President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the posting of 31 non-career and 34 career ambassadors to various Nigerian diplomatic missions across the world and the United Nations.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Friday.
The ambassadors-designate were earlier confirmed by the Senate in December last year.
According to a State House statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the postings cover key missions in Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Non-Career Ambassadors
The non-career ambassadors and their designated missions are:

Agrément and Induction
The statement added that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already received agrément from the United Kingdom for the High Commissioner-designate, Ambassador Aminu Dalhatu.
France has also granted agrément for Ambassador Ayodele Oke.
Agrément is a diplomatic term used in international relations. It refers to the formal approval given by a host country before another country can appoint an ambassador to it.
According to the presidency, the ministry has forwarded the nominations of the remaining 62 envoys to their respective host countries and requested agrément in line with diplomatic practice.
President Tinubu has directed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to immediately begin the induction programme for the ambassadors-designate and high commissioners.
